Concierge Medicine for Men · Dublin, Ohio

The doctor you can actually call.

Imagine a doctor who answers his own phone. Most primary care offices are built around insurance billing, rushed visits, and a phone tree. Regulus Health is built around you. It is a direct-pay concierge practice for men, so your care is shaped by you and your physician alone, with no insurance company in the middle. Members get their doctor's direct cell phone number and one physician who manages it all: primary care, hormones, metabolic health, longevity, and the acute illnesses and injuries that would otherwise send you to the ER.

One physician. Your whole health.

The doctor most men wish they had.

"Most doctors give you a few minutes once or twice a year and send you to the ER the moment you actually need them. I do the opposite.

I have spent my career in the ER, primary care clinics, the hospital wards, and the ICU, and I am board certified in both internal medicine and emergency medicine. That means I can handle far more than a typical doctor's office: primary care, longevity, metabolic health, hormones and testosterone, weight loss, and most of the illnesses and injuries that otherwise usually end in an emergency room. You can call or text me any time, and because my practice is deliberately small, I can see you as often as you want, for as long as each visit takes."

My direct cell number

Members get my personal cell phone number. Call or text me directly, not a call center or a portal.

Always room for you

Membership is capped, so you get same-day or next-day visits that last as long as they need to.

No unnecessary referrals, guaranteed

If I can manage it, I will. Labs, ultrasound, EKG, procedures, and prescriptions are handled in house whenever possible.

Fewer trips to the ER

If you get sick or hurt, I will see you the same day or the next. As an ER doctor, I know what truly needs the emergency department, and I can treat most of what everyone else sends there right in my office.

01

Primary Care

Thorough annual physicals, wellness and prevention, and close management of any health conditions you may have, with visits as often as you need. One doctor who sees the whole picture.

02

Longevity, metabolism, hormones, and performance

Testosterone and hormone care done properly, with a real diagnosis, a real exam, and labs tracked over time. Cardiac risk, metabolic health, body composition, and longevity medicine are managed under the same roof as the rest of your care.

03

Acute illness and injury

Lacerations, abscesses, infections, sprains, fractures, and dislocations are treated in the clinic by a board-certified emergency physician, with ultrasound and EKG right in the exam room.

A word on emergencies. Truly life- or limb-threatening problems, like a heart attack or a stroke, belong in an emergency department, and I will tell you so right away. Short of that, I can manage an awful lot.

Why Regulus is different

Medicine the way it should be.

One physician who knows your history, your labs, and your goals, and who can also handle the injury you never planned for.

That is the promise, and every part of the practice is designed around it.

A physician, not a franchise

Every visit is with a physician board-certified in both emergency medicine and internal medicine, not a rotating cast of providers.

No insurance middleman

Regulus is a direct-pay membership practice with simple, transparent pricing up-front. There are no surprise bills, no prior authorizations, and no billing codes deciding your care.

Answers in the room

Ultrasound, EKG, and point-of-care testing happen during your visit, so you leave with answers instead of a referral and a week of waiting.

Built for the whole household

Partners and kids will be able to join, so your family's first call is a physician who already knows them.

Your physician

Trained for the clinic and the emergency department.

Dr. Cardone is board certified in both emergency medicine and internal medicine, a rare combination earned through The Ohio State University's five-year combined residency, where he served as chief resident. He earned his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and his undergraduate degrees in neuroscience and philosophy at Vanderbilt University.

He practices as an emergency physician and hospitalist in central Ohio, leads a testosterone and hormone therapy program, is certified in hormone replacement therapy by the BHRT Academy, and is faculty-certified in emergency ultrasound. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

Regulus Health brings both halves of that training together for the men of central Ohio. Dr. Cardone lives in Dublin with his wife and sons.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Is this insurance?

No. Regulus Health will be a direct-pay membership practice, not health insurance, and it does not replace insurance. Most members keep a plan, often a high-deductible plan, for hospital stays, specialists, and emergencies, and use Regulus for everything else.

When will Regulus Health open?

We plan to open in Dublin in 2027. People on the interest list will hear the details first, including introductory pricing for the first 50 members.

Can my wife and kids join?

Yes. Partners and children will be able to join as add-ons to a member's plan, so the whole household has a physician who already knows them.

Where will you be located?

In Dublin, Ohio, convenient to Powell, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, and Worthington. We will share the exact address once the space is final.
